PREPARING for SESSION


  • Prepare a quiet and private place to speak. 


  • Both hands-free ability is optimal. 


  • Position Camera so that your Eyes are looking forward and level or eyes slightly upward is best.





1st appointment anxiety


First, Know This:


Feeling anxious about your first session is perfectly normal. 


You are in a safe and caring environment with someone who truly prioritizes your comfort. 


Your appointment will be conducted with care, and you'll likely feel more relaxed sooner than you expect.



What to Expect: 


  • Anticipating topics can cause unease, which is completely natural. Your coach will be there to support you through it.


  • The focus will be on progressively moving forward, ensuring you don’t have to relive past experiences.


  • This approach is different from traditional talk therapy or counseling—it's designed to guide you gently, prayerfully, and supportively.



MAXIMIZING SESSION TIME


Faith-Based Guidance


  • If you're unsure where to start, that's perfectly okay.


  • With prayerful guidance, your coach can help select a meaningful focus for the session if needed.


  • You decide the direction of the session, even if it means asking, "Coach, please choose for me today.” Or, "Coach, what do you recommend?"


  • Trust that your coach, led by faith, will guide you thoughtfully and skillfully through the process.


  • Helping you navigate and lead you through the session is the responsibility of your Coach.

Rest assured that you're supported by compassion and faith every step of the way.

Well-Being Initial Basic Session Tips


  • If you're in the 12-Weeks Well-Being initial basic program (where most individuals start), you might consider beginning each session with 'What is bothering me the most.' Yes, we will cover everything in the Well-Being module.


  • To maximize your session time, come with an idea of what you'd like help with that day, if you are able.  Doing so will typically conserve 10-30 minutes of narrowing down what to process.


  • If you have 2-3 things on your list, give each a number 0-10 with 10 being the max it bothers you.  This could help you decide which to address for your session. Or, the earliest memory of a negative event is a powerful option to get great results.


  • Let me know that you have more than 1 issue and share your top 2 very briefly, like in less than 3-5 minutes. This allows to maximize the productivity and results of your session time. Once your 1st issue is resolved or is at a good stopping point, if there is time, the 2nd issue can be addressed. 1 issue will usually consume the entire session.


  • However, know this, if you're having trouble coming up with something, I can usually poke around gently and help you find something fairly easily.



Well-Being Specialty Sessions


  • If you're in the 12-Weeks Well-Being  Specialty  program, we'll lean more towards sticking closer to what's in those modules.



Length of Sessions


  • A typical coaching session length is 55-60 minutes. Allow 5 minutes more following appointment to complete your Insights Form.


  • Consultations are 30-40 minutes, up to 55 minutes dependent on Coach availability and your desire.


  • Evaluations + Sessions are 80-90 minutes, or up to 1 hour and 45 minutes, depending on your need and Coach availability. Allow 5 minutes more following appointment to complete your Insights Form.


  • Appointments after the Evaluation: If you find you need more time, if it seems just too short, share with your coach.  Appointments can be extended to '90-minute' or ‘2-Hour' sessions. Appropriate fees apply.


  • 2-Hour Sessions - are like getting 3-5 sessions worth in 2 hours. Saving you time and expense. And the best thing, Getting Quicker Results!





After Each Session


Complete the Insights Form the same day as your session as per our Coaching Agreement. 


It takes only 5 minutes.
