EFT - WHAT IS IT?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as Tapping. Scientifically proven, extremely effective with PTSD Veterans.

It is a method for assisting the release of emotional, mental and physical trauma, often helping relieve physical discomforts through the process.

It works by acknowledging (verbally or internally) what is the issue, and simultaneously addressing the physiological component, by tapping physically on nerves in certain areas. This contributes to calm the nervous system.

Doctors say that 75-85 % of all dis-eases are stress related. This is a method to address the stress from which we are not at-ease.

IS EFT SAFE FOR CHRISTIANS?

The short answer. Yes.

EFT (tapping) in itself is not spiritual nor religious. It's an evidence-based self-help therapeutic method. Studies indicate EFT results have positive health effects as well as increased mental, emotional and physical well-being.

WHAT ABOUT CHINESE RELIGION AND THE MERIDIAN SYSTEM?

Isn't EFT and the Meridian system considered as Chinese Religion or Mysticism? No.

There IS a distinct difference between

Chinese 'religion' versus Chinese 'medicine.'

EFT and Meridians are 'Not' religious.

EFT HISTORY

It's been in practice for thousands of years. In 700 BC a group of Chinese who worshipped the One True God, Yahweh, honored Him in all their practices.

At this time, a new ruler came into power but he was assassinated. His son came into power and he brought in Buddhism.

The Buddhist studied the practice of these God honoring people and discovered it worked. They adopted these practices and gave them Buddhist terms. To be clear, we Do Not practice Buddhism here.

CAN THE MERIDIAN SYSTEM BE PROVEN SCIENTIFICALLY?

Yes.

It now has been verified by science as a proven micro micro vascular system in the body, now known as the Primo Vascular System (PVS). It is able to be seen with a blue stain like dye injected inside the body. (See photo link below)

Otherwise, externally, there is now a device/meter that can be moved along the skin and it beeps when it detects the right location of a point.

WHY DO NEW AGERS USE THIS METHOD?

Simply said, because it works.

Yet, it is true they may be using it in all kinds of wacky manners that totally leave God out of the picture.

Principals in the bible if followed, also can and often do produce good fruit, even if the person is not a Christian. Such as practicing forgiveness or tithing, the same benefits apply.

Here at Abundant Life Coaches, everything we practice must line up with the Truth of His Word or we don't use it. We do all things in an attitude of prayer and acknowledgement of the One True God.

DID GARY CRAIG INVENT EFT TAPPING

Although he did not invent the knowledge the God honoring people mentioned above knew, he did package a method to utilize the knowledge simply.

Did he make a more 'new age' twist with his teachings?

In my opinion, he did.

We don't practice new age anything here.

IS EFT SAFE?

EFT tapping is very safe and has no known side effects, even with over 100+ clinical proven studies. The benefits for Veterans with PTSD are long standing and usually permanent.

In my experience, for myself, and for all the others I've crossed paths with, although there are issues you can help yourself with, I haven't known anyone who has done so regarding Root/Core Issues.

BLS - WHAT IS IT?

Bilateral Stimulation (BLS) — BLS refers to gentle, alternating left-right stimulation (for example, alternating taps or other left-right rhythmic input) used as a self-regulation skill to support calm, focus, grounding, and emotional resilience. BLS may be similar to elements used in EMDR; however, in this coaching context it is used solely as an educational, self-help skill and is not EMDR psychotherapy.

Important Scope Notice — The participant will not be led to “re-live” past hurts. Instead, participants are coached in skills for calming the body, gaining perspective, and engaging the process in the Presence of Jesus. The coach facilitates the steps without “changing” the memory and does not use guided imagery or coaching manipulation. Any tapping or BLS exercises used in coaching are self-regulation/skill-building practices and do not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health disorders. The Coach does not provide psychotherapy and does not diagnose mental health conditions. If clinical care is needed or appropriate, the participant will be referred to a licensed mental health professional or other qualified provider.

sozo - WHAT IS IT

“Sozo” is one of the Greek words found in the New Testament that is translated as “healing”. When we use the term sozo, we’re talking about something that’s more than just physical healing.

In fact, sozo contains the idea of physical healing but it is much broader in scope. It means to:

Keep safe and sound

Rescue from danger or destruction

Rescue from injury or peril

Save from suffering or disease

Make well

Heal

Restore to health
